Dvorak: In Nature’s Realm, Op. 63 for 8 celli
There are 4 parts but each divides into 2 lines at times, so a minimum of 8 celli are needed. This would sound best performed as a cello orchestra. Written by Dvorak in 1882/3, the 5 short songs are: Melodies Steal into my Heart, Vesper Bells Ring, Golden Sunlight, Slender Young Tree, and This Day.
Cello 1 is often in treble clef, cello 2 is occasionally in tenor clef, and the lower two parts are in bass clef only. Difficulty ranges from intermediate, given treble and tenor clefs, to mostly easy in bass clef.
