Wilhelm Fitzenhagen (1848-1890) is best known for premiering Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations and drastically rewriting it into the version commonly played today.

These cello quartets are original compositions, edited and bowed by Douglas B. Moore. Op. 7, "Lullaby," ranges from intermediate to difficult, while Op. 8, "Sacred Song," has an intermediate Cello 4 and is difficult otherwise.
