Gibbons, Orlando: Four Fantasies for 3 Celli (1610)
Description
3 celli. Gibbons lived from 1583 to 1625. He was organist at the Chapel Royale and Westminster Abbey in London, and composer of many vocal, organ and instrumental works. These four fantasies are like vocal madrigals, and are very imitative in nature. Three are in G minor and one is in D minor.
All parts are in bass clef; the top part is of intermediate difficulty, the middle part less difficult, and the lower part easy.
